Just because it’s not for everyone it doesn’t mean it’s not a stunning property! Such exquisite taste.

As someone totally enraptured by property, yet never overly enamoured with any of the property content previously available, stumbling across The Luxury Home Show during pandemic gripped Britain, was possibly my greatest KZbin channel discovery to date! Showcasing homes that we have a genuine interest in discovering from the very outset of your journey, honing in on the details and features we actually care about, without any of the superfluous waffle spouted by many of your predecessors, increasingly slick videography and seamless editing. Yet most significantly of all, is how relatable you guys were, how personable and authentic you chose to be with your audience. Not overly polished, or robotic in any way, just learning as you went along but with undeniable passion from the outset. Congratulations on your well deserved success and it’s great to see the boss lady leading the way in front of the camera on today’s video once more.

As a minimalist...this house is exciting - restraint is an art! Wonderful sight lines. Could be softened here and there with greenery and texture. Outside shower is a touch of irony - given the British weather - great example of 'stiff upper lippery'. Cold? Grin and bear it!! 😂 Wishing Lorna and John all the best in their abode 🖤

I adore this distinct home. John really excelled with the outdoor space-it's truly breathtaking. If I were to make some changes, I'd swap the pink sofas for off-white ones, introduce more abstract paintings with warm tones, and seamlessly blend the indoor aesthetics with the outdoor design.

The garden/outdoor space is wonderful and the house definitely suits their style. I enjoyed this one.

I adore Lorna and John so much! They are honestly my favorite couple and their house is fantastic! So much space, it's almost palatial. I could never live there but it really suits them so well! Just gorgeous

I think for some it will be like marmite. You either love it or hate it. It’s got a tranquil feel to it, and calming energy. I personally find it has grown on me, since seeing it when Abbey Clancy did it. There’s tons you could do with it. It’s so spacious, which I do love. I cannot stand cluttered space !

You have really perfected the presentation of these amazing houses. I have been watching you since the beginning, the quality of the content has matured and become highly effective communication. Most people are exponentially short of time but it is worth investing some down time in your presentations. Really great job, well done.

I don't mind the modern-ness but need more plants on the inside to warm it up and a little wood would go a long way. The sofa is too low for me I couldn't sit down I think. Some greenery outside wouldn't go amiss either make it more welcoming. Very strange to keep shoes in your guests room but ok. Make sure whatever they put on the floor is easily cleaned could get away with tile or wood if you use non slip rug runners. I would do a lincrusta/Morris and beveled tile in that bath regardless of what colour the tile is. I hope he has input for colours. I like the kitchen and outdoor space. Thanks for the tour Summer and Matt I hope you will move into your own home soon in Miami.

Oh man, that house is stunning. I understand their style prioritizes the architecture, but I'm an art collection guy. I really see this beautiful home as a gallery home. The owners are very cool, and they have great style and vibe. This is an architectural dream home, do you think it would be ruined by showcasing contemporary art?
@__DaveAlexander3 ай бұрын
The original owner/builder of this home had it exactly like you described - impressive art collection with contemporary pieces hanging on every wall of the house - furniture/interiors that overall suited the concrete/brutalist design much more than what this couple have done with it (there were no curtains anywhere in the master bedroom). Each to their own, but it looked much better when the original owner was still living there in my opinion!

This house was featured in Grand Designs House of the Year a few years back as one of the longlisted houses. It used to be owned by a DJ, he was the guy who commissioned the original build. I don't remember the name of the architect, but he was a fresh grad and this was his very first project.

@stactionsmedia3318 What did I just read? Do you want to put French furniture and give a completely opposite country atmosphere to a Japanese brutalist-inspired building that literally contrasts with your furnishings? It's suicide! It's not a wooden house with cheap plasterboard walls typical of America! Do you want to color the walls? I remind you that this is exposed concrete originally designed by Tadao Ando, the greatest contemporary architect who revolutionized the very concept of architecture! Those concrete walls are created and made to be exposed! It is a very expensive and very durable concrete, and a paint job completely ruins the concrete, the design, and the very concept of the house! Already the owners with those pink sofas and those beds are ruining the original architecture, imagine if the house was as you would like

I like how this home is open to connect with the nature and how the natural illumination flows in various spaces. Meanwhile I was watching the video I thought the possibility of doing an a big art gallery on that big wall you can see from the facade of the home. Even in other spaces of the home and putting some sculptures because the sunlight entrance is perfect. 😎 PD: An asian garden, koi fishes and water features can fit perfectly too. 🤩

Hmm I think an interior designer is seriously needed to whip this place into shape, everything is a miss match of styles, textures, materials its has no rthymn and flow and doesn't connect with the style of the building which is mimnimalist urban steel and concrete ... it needs strong furniture with hard lines, some soft furnishings, huge abstract artwork, rugs, floor lamps to bring it to life...

Great channel! I have a small critique. Focus more on the architectural elements in more detail. Talking about the vanity's wired lights kelvin output is a unnecessary topic, instead spend time showing how the interesting kitchen island is utilized. A kitchen island containing everything from a master kitchen is really intriguing that was never elaborated.
