Maiden Flight Big Blue, 104" Full Electric Setup

Hello Matt what kind of flight time are you getting with the 9500mah packs, I have 9500mah packs in my 91” electric and I get about 8 minutes. I’m curious about the time in the 104” because that’s my next project.

What’s servos are you using? My Align DS615s do this all the time and only stop when there’s pressure on the surface or input on the channel. They’re most likely just working to hold center. I guess there always the possibility that you’re sending to much voltage to the servos, but I assume you’re using a BEC to step it down from 7.4v?

Hi. I’m using Savox all round. They are all running through the PowerBox which is set to 7.4v. I suspect it’s the dual aileron servos that are buzzing due to holding centre like you said. The servos are matched in each aileron so it shouldn’t be that.

@@MattTakharRC funnily enough I’ve had the same buzzing with Savox 1270tg’s as well. They’re just very precise digital servos that are always looking for center. Personally I would say they’re fine.

I must admit I use the 1270’s in a few of my models and agree with you. I’m pretty sure if I move the sticks the buzzing stops. Same as my Laser that has them.

Install a quick release canopy latch on top Center!!

100% it is exactly what it needs. I’ll be doing that shortly and adding the graphics. I’ve now flown the model 5 more times. I love to. Will be filming and update video once it’s dialled in.

Hi. I currently have my timer set at 5 minutes 30. However I’m about to adjust it to 6 minutes. That’s flying some aerobatic manoeuvres. I’ll be uploading a new video this week.

Hi I was getting just over 6 minutes with the 9500mah packs. 8 minutes in your 91” is really good. My EF 104” Extra is a v1 which is heavier than the newer designs.
