I like it and I know it’s a “luxury/sport” trim but I wish they’d put a pair or even better, two pair of sport exhausts on it to further distinguish it from the non F-Sport trim.

BEWARE! Lexus used to maintain a specification defined with the "F-Sport" badge. I know. I owned 2 of these, both NX F-sport. On a recent transaction, I discovered that Lexus, now, will badge an F-sport with, no seat memory, no "Three year" subscription option facility; an all new Carplay requirement... among other shortcomings. Yes! I am bitter from my own shortcomings. Instead of analyzing the specification, I assumed, mistakenly, that "F-sport" carried a Spec (Instead of analyzing "Premium" then "Luxury" either of which may have "Plus"). Today, "F-Sport" means limited interior choice; wheels and suspension; and badges. DON'T GO WHERE I DID. Today "F-Sport" requires analyzing and checking the starting specification which may very well be below previously default specifications.

IF the F Sport is “better” than a RDX, it is not by much. I made the first and only impulse buy of my life and got a 2023 NX F Sport and hated it pretty much from the get go. It does have some nice technology for sure and a few other positives. I had the same color and it is a decent looking car. However, it is NOISY (Lexus?); engine, road and wind, it is slow off the line, it is cramped, has average handling and not much fun to get in and drive. After a year, I dumped it and got a much better driver’s compact SUV. Fortunately, I could afford the mistake and am much happier now. Oh well.

You can upgrade the screen. Many options are available as stand alone.

I will not buy a vehicle that only offers run flat tires. You are paying more for an inferior tire that gives a much bumpier ride because of a sidewall that almost has zero flex. Secondly Lexus owners have confirmed the noisier bumpier ride. (No spare/ no Jack) Thus tire set up should only be an option and not forced. I will not consider this vehicle. More to a car than just looks.

All a matter of preference. I've owned cars with run flats (Mercedes and BMW) and did not mind them. But if it is the only thing that is keeping you from getting this vehicle consider buying a set of 4 regular tires. It will usuallu cost ypu less than $1000 and resell the once that are on there. It will most likely more than cover the cost. Unless of course there are other reasons.

I do not like the back of the lexus now. They spell out LEXUS. And the whole back looks square and unattractive. Also 2 inches less back seat legroom than a much cheaper Rav4!! I wish the F sport offered walnut color seating instead of just red and black.

They definitely changed their design to more square. I dont mind it as much but some people do. Walnut color would be a nice option for the interior. Thanks for watching!

@MattTheCarguy I am so frustrated with Lexus bc I will only buy a Lexus or a Toyota and I will be in the market for a new car in about 2 or 3 years and I don't like how small the NX is. It should be the size of a Rav4 at least. But clearly they don't want to steal RX customers. I am 6 foot 2 and watching you sit in the back seat, it looked like such a tight fit!! And the trunk not only looks bad but it also looks small AF! What are you paying all that extra money for?? Definitely not that standard screen. I would only consider the basic NX 250 bc I am really cheap so assuming that will be 45k, compared to a 35k rav4...I don't know if I can justify paying 10k more. On what? Just higher quality materials but a Toyota will last at least 20 years so it's not like a Lexus is going to last 40 years. I just wish they made the NX the same size as the Rav4 in back seat leg room and cargo room. They also need to have the f sport exterior and give the walnut seat color option on all the trims. With the rav4 size. Then I would get a Lexus NX! When is the next refresh for Lexus? And do they change the dimensions or has that always been the same?

I hate red interiors. Lexus advertises their interior as black but it’s grey. I want black. Why is Lexus calling an interior black when it’s grey? Wow. Why did they not option the run flats instead of it being standard? I can not buy a car with these issues. No thanks.

I agree 100%, but there is so much more to car ownership, reliability, gas mileage, cost of maintenance, resale value etc. I think NX is a solid entry into the segment, and if you compare feature by feature, thousand less than BMW or Mercedes. But you can't beat their driving dynamics.

I had no idea lexus was that loud. I hear a lot of wind and tire noise.. onward with my search. I want sporty quiet and fuel efficent. Dont want to hear the wind hitting the vehicle and the loud tire noise.. engine seems a bit loud as well. 50k and loud? No thanks. My honda civic is more quiet than this video is.

I have just driven the RDX A-Spec with Advance package and this NX and i have to respectfully disagree. The NX is so much more than dressed up Rav4. You wont get this engine on Rav4 or the adaptive suspension. Styling and quality of finish is so much better it shouldnt be even used in the same sentence. I liked the RDX with exception of its horrible infotainment system. Also Turbo lag at acceleration was really bad. RDX wins as far as spaciousness and seat comfort. Design is very subjective and I liked both. GV70 is very impreasive as well especially with the 3.5l engine.

A red rav4 looks great and much cheaper and a lot more read legroom and cargo space! I really wanted to spoiled myself with an NX, my first luxury vehicle but this does nothing for me. Too small, too expensive, you would think a bigger screen and more space would be standard but you have to upgrade and it gets real expensive real quick with any upgrade. I rather get a fully loaded Rav4!!!
