Marko, the shoes would’ve retained a lot more coffee dye in them if you had used really hot water- almost boiling. For future reference try using hitter water

Love that your actually doing something more than just the trends, and painting them afterwards putting that extra effort it did seal the deal for me. My favorite is the simple Nike it clean My 2 would probably be the Starbucks And the off white loved the rope did a lot for the shoe

I've coffee dyed my air forces before and it worked great. I went to a coffee shop and asked for a bag of their old coffee grinds, I then added the coffee to BOILING water and left my shoes in there for 2 hrs. that was enough time to give them an even cream colour. Note that the water must be boiling, and use as much coffee as possible.

After acetoning the shoes, do you let them dry for 10/15 minutes or do you throw them in the coffee straightaway?

@@martingeldman9698you can throw them in straight away. Acetone vaporizes almost instantly anyway, so there is no drying time needed

I use a giant roaster and set my temp to 150. For the coffee and shaving cream- I used instant coffee and it to a paste first. Then add to the shaving cream
