Some of the guys need to step up and and make something from nothing happen like Vic and Gus used to do…. Nobodies expecting those set of very special boots to be completely filled but there’s enough talent in this team to share that role….No panic though … it’s still early in the season I’m confident they’ll end up in the playoff zone…..PUSB 👍👍

Two good sides in the main. Some sloppy defending for four of the goals, but Coventry's defence in particular switched off for two of the Cardiff goals. Might be lapses in concentration, but they looked like they didn't know how to play the back three system at times. Both are worrying.

Lots of poor performances individually and unable to get the ball in the box enough. Good to see that the lads kept going to the end🩵PUSB🩵

The biggest issue, for many cov fans, is the lack of creativity and drive in midfield; Palmer can flick the ball and play an overhit pass like no other, but where is that driving midfielder that our system relied upon (and is now lacking) since Hamer's departure? This system is not working - it is isolating the front two, and the wing backs are not providing enough quality into the box for Wright/Simms to feed off. Then there's the basic, schoolboy errors in defense; Wilson must be tearing his hair out, at times, quite honestly. This will be a difficult season, in truth, one of transition and bedding in, and getting the right players in the right system. Hopefully, when O'Hare returns, and is up to speed, he can once again be that crucial link between the midfield and attack, in a 'box' midfield. I'm beginning to question the signings we've made, aside from Van Ewick, Sakamoto and Latibeaudiere - hopefully, the team will click before long, because apparently (and I've only seen a couple of matches so far) the overall concensus is that this system and personnel are simply not working, and are dreadful to watch.

To me it looked like we were not at the races and our passing was dreadful. We need to have more players that want to go forward instead of passing sideways or backwards. Pusb
