The issue was once pogba was out they had no creativity in the midfield. Herrera had most of the ball but he either lost it most of the time or played it safe. Rashford and martial made so many runs behind the defenders but no one was there to service them. Really unfortunate he didn't play. It shows how extremely important he actually is.

Mourinho is negative and it is reflected in the players.. lack of confidence and creativity. He shouldn't have told Herrera and Matic to man mark the silvas. Rather, just have 2 organised banks of 4 or play narrow diamond with Martial and Rashford up front ready to run in behind on counters. It was to keep the spaces tight so as not to allow city to get into pockets. It was going well until mistakes happened. Man marking their central mids was practically impossible because they roamed everywhere on the field. Like david Silva who found himself on the wing a lot of times. Mistakes really cost united and also the lack of creativity in the mid. Pogba out means no one is there to make those long or short direct passes.

The only thing I can point out in Mou's coaching is that he didn't focus on improving the defense, Lindeloff proved a wrong signing (happens to every club), Bailly has been under performing, Dalot is good but still adapting, I dont even want to talk about Smalling and Jones MY GOD how are they in Man U, Young doesn't know how to defend and Valencia is not as good, Darmian I have no ideia as well why is he there still....

You are probably right mate , he should resign not because he is not good enough but because Manchester united has no ambition and will destroy his hard earned reputation. That you like it or not , he is one of the best manager there is in football. It is time you guys star addressing the real issues. Mufc still milesssssss away from mcfc and Europe's top sides. Mufc Still not Jose team in my opinion but Pep has successfully built his own team and with the club hierarchy.
