I really think they deserve each other (Matty and Gabi) because they are both clout-chasers who will say and do anything to get attention and try to remain relevant. Matty, in particular, likes to stir up controversy because he's desperate. I really think he conned Taylor into a relationship with him just for clout and then then threw her away after he was done using her. He also made sure to hurry up and get a ring on Gabi's finger when TTPD came out, and that was probably designed just to hurt Taylor. It was glaringly obvious. He's truly a narcissistic sociopath.
