I much prefer the more long-form conversations like podcasts where they're not cut off, talked over, or rushing to more ad-breaks. Away from the bigwig tv channels they don't have to be so dramatic and hype things up for media-spin purposes. They can actually explain their points of view as opposed to just coming up with soundbites or being shouted down by soundbites.

Analysis: QLD capitalised well on the numbers advantage early and put points on. NSW hung in for majority of the game but lacked a good kicking game and good attack in the good ball area. QLD had DCEs exceptional kicking game which got them to a lot of great points on the field to build pressure and score points. NSW ended up getting blown out in the end care of fatigue. Not a whole lot to analyse tbh

The Roosters lost Dominic Young to a send-off early against the Bulldogs this year. Yet, the roosters put up 26 (against the 2nd best defence in rugby league), had 4 linebreaks, and lost by just 4 points. Meanwhile, NSW (a supposed rep team) managed just 10 points (all from unstructured kicks, and they actually had more possession), 1 linebreak vs 7 for QLD, and they lost by 28. They were much worse than people think

@@zaneplatt3533 this is origin lol. The quality of players were way better punishing the blues than the bulldogs punished the roosters. The bulldogs also let the roosters into the game into the second. Games higher quality and quicker in origin so little 1% errors become more apparent and noticeable than in a club game. NSW played well with the 1 man send off

Queensland always stick with the same origin players,.NSW always change their players if they lose. No trust or loyalty in their players. For example they are already talking about replacing Nico with Moses. A great confidence builder for Nico, yeah ?

I like Latrell and he will more than likely pick up the vacant centre spot, but I think the QLD outside backs will be far too quick for him. ATM unfortunately I don’t think NSW have the players to combat it. I’m hoping they will prove me wrong. 1 down in the series with your only home game behind you and down on troops. QLD 3-0 or hopefully QLD 2-1.

I could be wrong, but as a half or 5/8, you are a key player. Even with less than 13 man you are the one that will direct the game especially in offence. It's your role to lead, by being creative and vocal, and create opportunities for your team. Some playmakers are just too quiet, expecting their teammates to read their mind causing a blowout like Origin 1.

The thing about Laterall is his fitness and speed. He's a great try scorer close to the line but hes getting run down over 40metres or more by half the QLD team. Both QLD halves would beat him over 60 metres. Laterall is also a hot head and will give away plenty of penalties

That was a CLEAR take out Walsh hit, VERY badly done by a bunch of losers, could not have made it look any more clear. Madge's game play, 1. remove Walsh early on, 2. Pray for a miracle. That was a shoulder charge intended to disable, not a tackle at all, The ref had to send him off, the hits on him and other blues players from then on would have been HUGE, and brawls would be ongoing all night. QLD 3 nil
