@@Stricks823 Matty is a very nervous cuber as well. If he didn't have nerves in that last solve of ML S4, he might've had a chance to become the S4 champion. We also don't get to see much of Matty because he doesn't get many comps in Hawaii, but when we do see him, he is a beast. He got a YTUWR ao5, and he failed the first official sub 5 average in comp. So over the years he probably has more experience than Yiheng handling nerves which is why I think it'll be close. Yiheng is still the favorite to win, but people are acting like Matty has no chance which isn't the case.

The only thing that get them above a 6 right now is locking up, their solutions are so effective and fluent, if their turning goes neearly perfect they get insane times

I don't know about that, I prefer moyu for the value but gan cubes are nice. I don't think it would change their times much, when you're turning at 10 TPS and you're nervous you're gonna lock up no matter what cube you use

@filipesantos2230 you may be correct, like I said I prefer moyu over gan, but these guys are world class proffessional cubers, and they choose gan over moyu. It's not like they've never used a moyu cube before. Moyu also used to have a bad reputation, I remember they used felik's image without his consent or knowledge, so he refuses to use moyu cubes to this day.

Tymon and Leo have both used other cubes before, so I wonder if maybe they just liked the feeling of the Gan cubes and switched to them and then got sponsored, rather than them getting sponsored and then having to use them. At this level isn't what Tymon did on the first solve cheating I mean he can use the adversary inspection time to pre inspect the scramble and he can copy solving paths that he might not have thought/seen during his inspection

One player getting easier scramble than the other and competing is just wrong, unfair and not logical. They can only be competing and assessed if they get same exact scramble, otherwise what is the point of the timer if scramble is different for both? Literally, the scramble that max park and yiheng wang should be given to other players and see if truly none of them get 3.13 seconds only then we can say max park or yiheng wang for example is the world record holder etc.
