I got also Trek Roscoe 7. It's pretty good for me. Just for jibbin and all around mountain bike, brakes are bad and it's little bit heavy, but i dont mind. When i was a teenager I was drivin with the dirt bikes only, so 29ers feels so large for me. I'm 190cm tall...

You're getting better, Matty, it's not the bike! That said, you like it, just keep it and ride it. You don't need another hard tail unless you outgrow this one!

Plus the 7,8,9 are the same frame just better part's the more you pay. You can run 29er on your 7 for jumping and playing around i like to run a mullet on my Roscoe 8. Enjoy the ride

I let my Roscoe 8 go after buying my slash and I still miss it at times. I probably would do half the things I do on my slash with it but like you said it’s a fun bike to toss around

My old Roscoe 8 was a great bike. Had to move on though, cracked the frame at the seat stay and broke the rear axle. Didn't seem to happen from one event either, just over time. Won't ever get a bike with a QR axle again, haha. It was a good bike, though! Made it about a year and a half.

Switching the tires to a DHF 2.6 front and Dissector 2.6 Rear was night and day. Just not too happy with the fork. Going to upgrade to a Bomber Z2.

Have you ever thought about trying 2.6 inch tires on the Roscoe? It would make it lighter and more nimble. Not quite as good on the super rocky terrain, but it would be amazing on the trails in this video.

Nice video man! I've been looking for a trail hardtail and your vids are really good. Would you recommend me a 29er or a 27,5 if I plan to do both trails in the forest with roots and rocks and jumps just like the ones shown in this video? Also, keep up these great vids!

The 29er Roscoes got a lot of improvements to the frame. I cracked my old Roscoe 8 and broke one of those QR axles. The new bike seems a lot tougher. Since I went 29er, I don't regret it at all. It's crazy how big you can roll stuff. Took a little getting used to, but wasn't bad at all.

Ah did they go 29" on the newer roscoe's? I still like my previous year roscoe with the 27.5. Why did they do 29 on the new ones? The roscoe is a fun-bike, not a race bike.
