Michkov has a terrible character, he fought with a teammate in training, the contract is until 2026, and here is a ready-made defender for the NHL, look at the distances, but I am sure that this choice is good and Michkov will be the second Yakupov

I’m so happy about this, man. I don’t care at all about the KHL contract. We’re going to be very bad for the next 2 years at least. I don’t mind waiting at all for a potential generational talent like Michkov. This was great on the Flyers part.

@@aggresif8491Never heard anything bad about his character or fighting a teammate, so I am not sure where that is coming from. I have a feeling that is just the media blowing things up because he is Russian. The Flyers are rebuilding, his KHL contract really doesn't matter since they will need to stay at the bottom of the standings to get more talented prospects during that span. Yakupov 2.0 remains to be seen, but I highly doubt it. This is the best prospect out of Russia in a long time. In his draft year in the KHL, Ovechkin had 3 more points than Michkov did in 26 (!) more games. This kid is a stud.

He might be a 140 point player one day, but the risk involved with Nationality pushed the other potential 100-120 point scorers one step ahead. Fantilli, Carlsson and Smith look like they will all be superb franchise players. Also the fact that the other ones were centers is something to think about. Montreal Arizona probably made mistakes though.
