At 15k per day(6 day week), owner gets 4,320,000/yr. If they decide to sell the Matatu after 2yrs @roughly 5m, then they'll have made about 250k in profit per month. Of course this assumes the initial investment was 7m and factors in vehicle service & other costs upto 600K. It now depends on whether the investor sees this as a worthwhile ROI.

This is a calculator idea. Kwa ground mambo ni different. 1. Insurance is paid monthly, tlb, and sacco management fee paid daily, which is over 1k per day. Karau ndio uweze kuchafua, service and maintainance, tyres, weekend haziweki hiyo pesa. hiyo 5.4m unahesabu kupata nusu ni bahati.

I once had a student st form three who used to earn a living doing the graffiti for these buses. As an untrained teacher, the guy would earn more than i do. Its good for job creation. We only need tge operators to behave in a professional manner.
