if this car makes for the owner about 12k per day 6days a week this is 72,000 per week that is 288,000 per month assuming the car does not require anything, repair, no tire burst, no police, no cartel.....if all these factors are considered zero the car will take 3.5 years to bring back the money but if you put this all factors in paper plus more the car needs about 8 years and 3 months to save 10m

Shocked to hear it costs 10M na daily income 12k plus minus. While back in the days 2004 to 2009, Manyanga, including everything, was around 4.5M to 5.5M na fare wa 20bob only after all expenses, including Mkinyo! Ilikua ina weka 10k to 13k and the matatu was 29 seater..... eeh kazi ya ma3 imekufaa kwelii.....hakuna kazi hapa including jam and this pressure wacha ikae...thats why you will never see a Somali investing on Ma3.

This is another business for laundry! The owner of the Matatu does not care if it plies empty or not. Haja ni driver apewe 250k kila siku aweke kwa bank ya mwenyewe in pretence that that is what it rakes in. Sasa akiwa na matatu nne kama hizi, that's 1M per day. In a year, 364M is cleaned. Uzuri ya media ya Kenya, they don't do their job. Si mmoja apige roundi na wao akiwa na calculator! 🤣

This is how it works - Unaweka full tank jioni ndio uende kupark. Then you give the owner 14k. Inafaa dere na kange wajilipe pia. Many go home with around 3k - 5k on a daily basis. Nganya iko na doh sana. It's only that unapata madere na makange wengi ni ma- youngster. They don't have responsibilities thats why they end up spending kwa tei na madem.

Hiyo calculation yao haija make sense. Mat ni 10 mil. Alafu daily income after overhead ni between 13k-15k. So monthly ni 364k-420k. According to this figures after one year total income ni in between 4.4mil-5mil. Kumbuka baada ya 1 year hio mat sio manyanga tena. So it’s all about hype. That market is saturated and probably takes 2 years to start counting profit and that’s if you’re lucky you haven’t encountered any written off accidents. Nah it’s not my thing anyway. I rather buy houses and resale them. Has good profit as far as I know
