The Myths of Maui oceanfront luau, at the Royal Lahaina Resort, features a sumptuous all-you-care-to-eat assisted buffet, complimentary cocktails and a beautiful celebration of music, drums and dance. My wife and I purchased the VIP package for this event. The total cost was $394.58.

I highly recommend the Sunset Dinner Cruise we did. Check out the video I did on that. It was my favorite part of the trip! We also did the Maui Pineapple Tour. That was pretty cool. We didn’t take our kids on this vacation, so unfortunately don’t have much to offer on the kid friendly stuff.

I honestly don't remember the cost difference, but at the time, I felt it was worth the extra cost. It was the first time my wife and I had been on vacation without our kids, so I wanted to make it special for her. 😃
