They had the same issue with the Shoal. I’ve had the screws around the lenses back out several times. Now I just check them on a regular basis. Also, the Shoal had an issue with the STG lenses cracking in the corners at the stress points. That model has been discontinued but I’m glad I have 4 pair in multiple colors

The way the temples extend out to join to the front of the frame reminds me of late 90s/early 00s Oliver Peoples metal frames like the OP-521, 523, 524, etc.

Sending mine back in for the 3rd time for lenses popping out. Yep its true, and is disheartening to see it pop out and smash on the ground. Though, may I add, that even though this happens, the feel, look, and lens quality are superb. Still my favorites, and will get them fixed again sigh....

I recently bought a pair of Whitehaven, still waiting for them to be delivered as there have been some issues with finding a pair in the first place, but they are on their way now. How does that compare to "The Bird"? I personally prefer the Whitehaven, just based on aesthetics alone.
