Fun fact:shahid started out as a background dancer for songs in movies, then he became a cute looking male lead and then he turned to more serious roles. Also shahids dancing style is different from what you would expect. He can dance in western style but the best part is his ability to dance in Indian styles and there are many of them. Also he doesn't get lost in dancing too much. He maintains his expressions according to the lyrics which makes it all the more better.

shahid kapoor and kareena kapoor had been dating for about 5 years while they filmed this movie,and by the end of the shooting, they both had a bitter breakup and this song was hesitantly shot by both of them and the film went on to become a massive success and is still regarded as one of the best performances of both shahid and kareena. Also Shahid Kapoor predominantly began his career as a dancer and he was seen as a background dancer in many bollywood songs back in the day before he debuted as actor.

Okay so no one noticed the Lassi being made in a washing machine in the beginning of the song. In some areas of Punjab, people still use a small washing machine to make Lassi when they are a huge joint family or when relatives are visiting.
