How can 35 philistines dislike this ? The Transatlantic Sessions were wonderful. Sure, some were uneven, but there are performance gems amongst them. I have ten CDs from the series ( They're not easy to find ) and there's some wonderful stuff in there - this is one of my particular favourites, along with the John Martyn/Kathy Mattea, "May You Never" Many thanks to whoever came up with the concept.

Last year a friend of mine posted “Blue Train” with you James Grant and Nanci Griffith. At that time my heart was empty and still is in a way. When I first watched the video I felt that I was on that train with you. When you started to sing I envisioned you and I looking out windows at the passing scenery but not focusing on anything as it passed, just a blank stare looking inward through our faded reflections upon glass.
