My late mum who was from South Wales too was a big fan of Maureen. I remember her playing Maureen’s 1963 record Tomorrow is another day/Acapulco Mexico over and over again. I still remember every word of the songs and my sister has the original vinyl record.

Lovely to see Maureen Evans actually performing live. She was blessed with a beautiful voice.

Maureen lodged with my family in Craig-y-Don, North Wales whilst she was performing at Happy Valley, Llandudno (circa 1958). She was a lovely young girl. Hi Maureen, and greetings to you from Colin in wonderful Western Australia!

This lady has a wonderful voice and presence. I was about 14 when , Like I do, came out. In my opinion the talent this lady had was far more than many who went on to have more successful careers

Recently met this lady. Didn't know who she was until it was pointed out to me. Very gracious hasn't changed considering she must be in her seventies. What a voice! She should be considered in the same league as Shirley bassey. A true Welsh talent.

I wish I could hear the speaking accents of Frank Hennessy and Maureen. It says they're both Cardiff-born. Charlotte Church seems to lose her own Cardiff accent(She started to pronounce the /ɑː/ sound too well!).
