1983 week 14 Los Angeles Raiders at San Diego Chargers

I was 14 yrs old in 1983 and the Raiders were my favorite team, but months prior I promised to work at a charity fundraiser not realizing it was Super Bowl Sunday. I was really pissed about missing the game but thought, "I'll catch them win the next one" as I was so used to them being a great team. I'm now 54 and I'm still waiting. 😭

Hubris really became a judge problem for him. So much so it took years to convince him the time had come to stop trying to “Go deep.” for victory and that they no longer had the massive talent advantage that allowed them to often win despite being negative in turnovers and usually leading the league in being penalized.

Why isn't the great Todd Jay Christensen in the Hall of Fame? That's right the NFL Hall is BS. But not as bad as the Rock and Roll Hall. Todd, Tatum, Townsend, Plunkett, Wiz, LAmonica? No Hall...wrap your mind around that.
