I am a huge proponent of therapy. I think everyone needs someone in their corner with their best interests without having an agenda. It’s important, especially for people with bipolar to know other people go through the same things they do. They are not alone. What you have done here on this platform has given a lot of people hope and inspiration. It’s difficult, even for a health professional to understand if they themselves are not bipolar. I thank you for the work you are doing here.

I look forward to this every week. Being bipolar myself. You sure help me feel like its ok. My teenage daughter has also been diagnosed and she is really struggling some days. Its almost seasonal with her. Have you noticed that in the winter months you are more down than other months?

Maurice It takes a lot of courage to speak abt this topic. My son at the age of 13 had suffered head injuries that were 6 wks apart. This set us on a journey for over 20 yrs. I took my son thinking I was going to get the help he needed. That was my first mistake. No one told me he was considered an adult in the mental health field. He was told he didn't have to take meds, see a Dr or take therapy. I had no idea. To this day when I think abt it still feels like yesterday. I was crushed. I tried getting him help in a world where they took a parents rights away to get help for almost 13 yr old son. Thank you for the courage you have to talk abt this openly. God Bless you always.

This channel is way underrated! Maurice, ur an inspiration in every sense of the word...... As a sister of a schizophrenic brother, I can only speak as an outsider looking in, and it’s extremely sad to see my brother suffering from hearing loud screaming tormenting voices, even on his monthly injection for illness.... sad to say, my brother chooses drugs to escape tho u are a great example of another route to take..... it’s a personal choice! Mo you and I spoke to you probably a month ago at this point We were on site 47 It was a private site. For a variety of reasons It was necessary for me to jump off of the site. I would like to return to a site that is private that you and I can talk about the similarities in differences in our bipolar diagnosis. I'm on a couple different sites. I don't know if they are yours or if they are the moderators or theryrre scam or if they're administration. That's what happened the last time. I signed up on all of them and your moderator had to get into the programs and erase my name from multiple accounts. I 100% I'm understand if you choose not to re-engage a conversation. I don't mean to be but I have a tendency to be high maintenance. Maybe it's the bipolar but I would don't want to blame the mental illness for everything in my life. That's an excuse. I hope to hear from you. If I don't I understand. Kim H
