There are many bands in my past that meant a lot to me and for them I am thankful, but no band like them (Earth, Wind & Fire) ever touched my very spirit in the way that they did- Their late member was the lead man / founder, co lead singer and too a key driving force of them was Maurice (Reese) White, he was a person whom I will miss in heart and soul. I met Earth, Wind & Fire while I was a bellboy in Charleston, South Carolina at the Francis Marion Hotel. The year was 1976. It was a pleasure serving them before they went on to preformed a great concert in the city. They were so nice to me that they gave me a free concert ticket. RIP Maurice White. I love you my dear brother.
