The whole purpose of a 'separation' is for the couple to get counseling or take the time to figure out, where their relationship stands - why do couples now use this time to 'go do whatever you want, be with whoever you want, etc.' - that defeats the purpose of the separation - if they want to do that then divorce! Cause like others that are 'separated' Kyle and Mauricio are STILL MARRIED! . . . so if they stray, they are having affairs!!

They do this to calm everyone down. If they are getting a legal separation that is really the divorce. The divorce part happens after all the legal work is done and both sign on the dotted line. Celebrities always just say we're just separating. Then people get used to the divorce idea. They don't want it to sound so harsh but they are divorcing. Mauricio did not want to work on the marriage. Take time from work and go to therapy. Dunzo

In some states there is a mandatory separation period before you can file for divorce. So, some couples who are separated are just biding their time until they can move forward. If not for that reason, it could be due to financial reasons because Cali is a no fault state. You can get a divorce just because you're tired of being married. You don't even need the partners approval. Perhaps they're untying and separating their finances quietly while separated so when they divorce their financial records don't get dragged the media. It'll be a simple split. Just my guess. ❤

I guarantee this separation or divorce is due to financial dealings ( maybe gone bad ) or ones Kyle didnt know about aside from Mo never being home due to opening way too many offices around the country

I believe, if you've been watching Bev.. Hills for 13 years, you're smart enough to see how they so their own way, one chil at a time leaves home, which is almost like a death & then expect Mauricio to be at every event when he is becoming his own brand & Kyle not showing up to his events! You can see it from on the side lines! Her "friends" are gossips & no one really CARES about kyle but sure opine at evrry statement she makes. Next year, I don't need it to be called THE RICHARDS' SISTERS & OTHERS! 😅

I was married for a long time and it was good for most of it. But I knew about 6 years before we divorced that it was over. It’s hard, but it was the right thing to do.
