Mauritius and the Annual Kreol Festival

Mauritius has become famous as a vacation paradise and honeymoon destination because of its amazing beaches and wonderful weather. There's also lots to do here, and the shopping is great. Mauritius is multi-ethnic, although most people speak French (and Creole, a derivative of the language.) Every year, a Kreol Festival takes place, turning various parks and venues into a party zone, with energetic music, dancing and local food favourites for everybody.
