It was ok when it was run by Desi Arnaz. He had the place well under control. But when he moved onto Indian Wells all was lost.

I used to take people to see his show at The Viscount many times, with the advice to not heckle him. They never listened and the results we super funny. Ken Taylor was my :mentor" on drums. I knew ken from when he and Bachman played together in The Velvetones in Winnipeg. In fact, that last drum set Ken had (White Oyster Pearl Ludwig Down Beats) I sold to him. It was the drum set I played for years in The Wild Taste. After Ken's passing I tried to buy the set back but they weren't available. Pat was an old friend ever since The Balladeers and I still miss him and his ability to make people laugh. The world needs people like him now.
