Exactly right! I hate hearing that excuse from people. When I got pregnant at 15, I was told I had to drop out of high school & forget college. Instead I graduated with honors 4.0 GPA with absolutely no help with my baby from anybody, then had my 2nd baby at 18. The ONLY reason I COULD go to college was bc I was a single mom. I was born in poverty & stayed in it my entire childhood. Being a single mother, I was able to get grants to pay for every bit of college, which I did, as a single mother of 2, graduated at 20 yrs old with my first degree. Had absolutely no help from anybody, not even a babysitter, no friends or family- just myself & my babies. If I could do it then with no help, there's NO reason she can't easily do it, esp having a support system!
