It does have some nice classic lines. The plastic trigger is, like you said not bad for the price. Overall not bad for the price 👍

This rifle has many sister-rifles, the sauer 100 and 101 has almost the same exact bolt, and the magazines are interchangable.

Hey Henrik Johansson! Thank you for sharing that information with us! Have you ever looked into the Mauser M12 Rifle? That one looks interesting too. However it is a bit more expensive than the M18.

@@jeerrrrrrryyyyy I have the M12 Impact in the 308. Best shooter i ever had. Extremely accurate. Nice and easy to shoot both with and without moderater. I have a Zeiss Varipoint 2,5x-10x50 scope

BAhaha! Good one Joe! I like that !!! That 300 PRC has picked up mare traction in the last 4 months too. It will be interesting to see if it sticks around or if it fades into the background like other more modern cartridges.

In Canada there’s barely any Mauser dealers and I’m probably going to be the first one to back order a Mauser 12 Max with any major shops… just here looking if they include their scope mount and other accessories to include in my cart, they really do a poor job specifying their packages unlike HK

Nice bolt gun . Glass wise … I would try something you already have just to function test with . Then make a decision based on how accurate she tosses lead down range . Are you going precision rifle with it ?

You can easily remove the styrofoam which is inside the stock to create more space. Nice review!

That's a decent price for the bolt design and regular mounts , looks like they did a good job in my opinion , I'm interested how accurate it is with that riffling 🤔🤔

Good video! I have the m18 too but chambered in 30-06. The one thing I did to mine was to install iron sights on mine. Long slope front sight and adjustable ghost ring for the rear on a rail. Have you ever thought about doing the same to yours?

I will be honest the thought did cross my mind on that possibility. Maybe in the future I will, but I'm not holding my breath how busy things have gotten.

@@kristijanmedved6066 I find it to be very accurate. The hardest part was getting the relief adjusted right on the rear sight. The reason I used a rail was to be able to easily install a scope when I wanted too which I did. Having the interchangeability has mad the rifle more compatible with different hunting situations.

I really wish I had brought it out, but I hunt in a dense forest with the longest line of sight being maybe 60 yards. At that point the 6.5 creedmoor seems to be a bit more than I need for that job.

Yohandy Rodrigurez Hello, the rifle was purchased at euro optic, the rifle will have to be brought to a gunsmith too have the barrel threaded if you want a suppressor.

Honestly that redfield scope is nice. Get a Remington Long Action base for it and she should be good to go.

starwarsraul13 It’s fine, the groups have improved, but keep in mind that two rifles that are the same can and will group differently from one another. The bolt lock and in lock is fine. No change noticed in feel.

@@starwarsraul13 it's on the firm side, not heavy but not light, you have tu pull it for the first half inch and the it gets like feather but you get used very fast. The trigger is on spot, didn't get any creep, single stage, light.

they purposely use polymer on the trigger - for a better feeling in the cold- the inner trigger parts are made of good quality steel - you should have bought the threaded version from the getgo

@@jeerrrrrrryyyyy muzzlebrake or supressor - You really should get the Hausken JD224 XTRM MKII supressor its so very light weight compared to the vast majority of other supressors - its especially amazing with a ultra clear high quality Zeiss, Kahles or Swarovski scope , a 2 part picatinny quickchange mount ,a aimpoint reddot for short range and stuff and Pulsar or ATN nightvision or thermal with the same mount to quickchange after evening and extending the hunt into the night

I haven't seen any in the caliber, but they might make it in that caliber; whether or not they get sent over from Germany or not is a different question.

Switchpod 6.5 Creed. I had trouble finding the PRC. It seems we’re all having trouble finding certain guns these days. I had sworn to myself that I would only buy odd calibers, as every time there is nation wide hysteria, all of the common calibers seem to go up in smoke but in the end, it was the creedmore I purchased. Go figure. I do have a 25-06 that I love but it is getting a little long in the tooth, and wanted to get a beater gun. I figured everyone is buying Tikkas, let me get the Mauser!

controlled feed?

"mauser action", or "full length claw extractor" the feeding of the round is controlled ( via the claw extractor) from the elevator spring to the chamber. you can also tell if it is a controlled feed if it it is very difficult to feed a single round into the chamber by hand and then attempting to close the bolt. This rifle is not a controlled feed style. Some people like controlled feed and some don't.

I would put a 4x12x40 MM super zoom tactical scope on there in a Simmons scope it's a real good rifle scope and it does wonders because it's got mail dots in the rifle optics up down and left and right with Mill dots and I've killed a deer at 250 yards with that rifle with my 308 with that rifle scope is an awesome scope to have on that bolt action you want a civilian-made sniper rifle you go with a 4x12x40 mm super zoom scope go to your nearest Walmart dealer it's only like $77 just say $80 bucks it'd be easier

So are these so called Mausers, control round feed or not. It appears that they are not. It appears that ,'Mauser,' has followed the lead of Remington, Ruger and the other cheap corporate Capitalist companies and cheapened their products to the point that they are useless!
