Another great pistol of the between the war firearm era; I acquired one a few years ago and am looking for its kid brother the model 1910. I also, have pair of Ortgies pistols in 32acp and 25acp which has a rich but short history; you can see them in action in the TV series, Babylon Berlin with an array of other historic early 20th century firearms.

They’re neat! And as far as milsurp pistols go, not terribly expensive (usually)

Where can I obtain a new Firing Pin Spring and a new Recoil Spring? I recently, send for a pair from a company in PA but, the springs were wrong. A close match for both but still wrong. The Striker Firing Pin Spring inside diameter was to tight to fit on the Loaded Chamber Rod and could not be compressed enough to seat Firing Pin on the Sear. And the Recoil Spring was close but, an inch to long again, not being able to compress it into position within the Slide. So, if you have another Vendor for parts, please let me know.

For new ones I’d check Wolff Gunsprings, they manufacture them but I haven’t tested them myself. Also you can always check Numrich Gun Parts and Liberty Tree Collectors for originals

Is your pistol stamped for kreigsmarine ? U-boat captains carried them. & most ended up at bottom of the Atlantic

Sadly no, but I think later in this video we do take a peak at one such example 👍🏻

Hi Thomas enjoyed the 34 video. The Walthers also had a contoured grip. A little hard to see detail on the pistol. To get the striker to fire you only have to pull the trigger after inserting mag, but you already knew that.
@GreatNorthwestWeaponry3 жыл бұрын
Yeah I just don’t like dropping the striker on empty, I’ve broken a few old firing pins before. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching!

Really enjoy the channel. Do you think this will increase, decrease, or stay the same in value over time and why. Thanks in advance.

In my experience most of the German guns in general only seem to get more valuable over time, I expect that as long as this is maintained it will only be more valuable. Thanks for watching!

In Kriegsmarine the -e- at the end is sounded like the e un -eggs-, so kriegsmarin is not correct.

Your holster is Japanese. I have one almost identical but it is for the 1910/34.
