MAUSER 98 Development & History | Visit of the Oberndorf Museum

The MAUSER 98 action is regarded as the forefather of all modern bolt action rifles. Built in the millions, copied in the thousands, never matched. We have had the original for 125 years. A fact we want to celebrate!
On the occasion of our anniversary year this year, we visited the local history and fire arms museum in Oberndorf. Together with military historian Simon Zimmermann, we traced the history of this masterpiece in the birthplace of our MAUSER 98.
