No. As mentioned at 2:00 , tripod adaptable. Too unsteady without a tripod.

Have you done a resolve test on the mavens? I'm rethinking my dedication to having a spotting scope+tripod and a set of binoculars on my back country hunts. I can't decide if I want to hunt next season with the scope and binos I have now and wait to purchase some Swarovski 15x56 until 2020 or if I want to pull the trigger on the maven b4 next spring after selling my current set up. I'm already tagged out for this year so I'm looking at an optic restructure for 2019 or 2020.

I own a pair and have liked them so far. my question is what percent of picture do you get compared to swaros? are they like 90 percent as good? 95 percent as good?

Since I haven't gotten to compare them side by side at exactly the same time it's hard to put a percentage on it. But I would say 90% as good on the glass portion. The edge still goes to Swarovski in all portions except for the price, in my opinion. The Maven's are a great set of 15s though, very hard to beat for what your paying.

Just check the web and $1200 is way too much for some unknown binos. $1499 for 15x56 Meopta(Czech made) that you can’t tell apart from Swarovski is way to go. I’d rather go with 15x50 vortex viper. Thanks for the review!

You do know that these are made at the same factory as the most top of the line Vortex binoculars (Kamakura in Japan)? It's how the brand specs it out with the OEM that matters.

Meopta is awesome vortex is trash I feel better every time I see somebody wearing vortex binoculars for getting suckered, leupold makes better binos. I returned one pair of my vortex binoculars and I'm currently trying to sell another pair.
