Riding a bike has been shown to be a handy way to get around town and burn off some calories, particularly in this day and age when so many cities adopt a bike-centric approach to urban mobility. The market is largely filled with options for both electric and non-electric bicycles, though it goes without saying that many of these options are designed with men in mind.
While women's bikes have become more and more popular in recent years, there are still a lot more bikes available for average-sized men. Brands like Giant's Liv are devoted to providing women with bikes made specifically for them.
From a technological standpoint, the Maven Cargo is driven by a 750-watt rear hub motor. For added convenience, it offers throttle and pedal assistance modes. Its dual-battery system, meanwhile, promises more than 80 miles of range on a single charge. Two hydraulic disc brakes provide stopping power to the Maven, and a dual-crown front suspension fork helps to mitigate rough terrain.
Regarding availability and cost, the Maven Cargo can be purchased for $1,999 USD on Kickstarter. It is anticipated to start deliveries in February 2024 and has standard safety features like lights and integrated turn signals.
