For me it's the first channel of it's kind I know of too. He seems entirely unrestricted by NDAs given that he ultimately (no offence) wasn't big enough of a star to really get in on the inner circle, but also that this is purely solo content and not a podcast. Again I'm not trying to dump on podcasts, but I've seen so much brown nosing and 'echo chambering' so to speak, that you just feel disingenuity.

Watching your videos has given me a new sense of appreciation and respect for your accomplishments in WWE and post wrestling career. Moreover, the fact that you're so charitable with your assessment on wrestlers who had less than a stellar reputation backstage shows that you're genuinely a good dude. I'm happy for your success post-WWE and wish you all the best.

Haha. Okay, I was also hella jealous of Maven as a tiny kid so it's cool to see I wasn't the only one. I wised up to heels being far more entertaining around 14, and the "it's true, it's true"" era is about as good as heeling gets. In an era of Tony Soprano and Stone Cold, Angle was out there talking about working hard and making sure you drank enough milk.

I’ve heard from a lot of people in the industry that they really loved working with Stephanie and she’s a great person too. So many people forget the hours upon hours of charity work she does rather with the company or separately. I remember when Connor The Crusher passed and they did the promos in remembrance of him she not only hurt because of it being a fan that people loved but because of him being such a young child with a bright spirit he was. She genuinely cared about Connor and cares an absolute ton about fans and people she meets. I hope she enjoys her much much needed break to focus on family. That woman took a ton of nasty insults for entertainment but has also done so much hard work. I hope your channel really takes off and goes well!

They must be nuts if they expected Steve to just lose to Brock Lesnar on a regular Raw. I know Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair put Brock over. And so did The Rock and Undertaker (at PPVs). But Steve losing to Brock on Raw was a fucking insult.
@EliteGi
@EliteGi Жыл бұрын
@@Alvin_Vivian Yeah Brock was always something special, but hearing it from Austin's point of view, he's most likely the biggest draw ever in wrestling why should he be losing to a relatively new guy not even on PPV without a substantial story? At least make it a lead up and then Wrestlemania or something, where it would make sense...
@uzi978
@uzi978 Жыл бұрын
Correct. Steve absolutely would have done the job if they built the match up with Brock, and did it on PPV.. but there was no build whatsoever, it was a first round tournament match on Raw. It didn't make sense to job Steve out like that in that situation. They could have had an amazing rivalry if WWE just booked it correctly, but they pissed him off, and he was already tired, beat up, and worn out from the business, it makes sense that he would rather just go home.

My favorite story I've heard about Shane O Mac was that Vince told he had to work during the summer when he was 16...doesn't matter what job, but he had to get a job. Shane saw that somebody was laying bricks or tile or something at their family mansion, and he just said "hey are you hiring?" and the guy was like "Yeah I'll pay you $12 an hour to apprentice" and that was that. Dude was smart enough to get a job that didn't even require him to leave the house. Apparently he busted his ass for the guy too. It's really hard to not like Shane, especially with the insanity he grew up around.

Please don’t let the haters change your approach… your smiles, giggles and laughs each time you flipped the pictures was GENUINE!! keep it up…. We can see the memories pop in your head each flip….. Remember, I’m sure you taught your students to never let anyone bully them out of their joy… take your own advice…. you’re awesome, you were in a comfy enough space for 99.99% of the human race as a teacher, you left that, took a risk and lived out the fantasies of many….. nothing stopped you then, nothing should stop you now…. KEEP SMILING … WE APPRECIATE YOU taking time out your day to share your stories……

WWE is unwatchable and TERRIBLE at everything now. Maven is not right there working. They liike to promote the worst types like Roman Dhead Reigns and boring blobs like Cena. WWE died when Reings won Royal Rumble. Brock Lesnar kept it alive some while, but NOW it will be DEAD as a corpse due to rotten content and ugly creations , in mere 10 years. Vince sold WWE already.

Opinions are like assholes we all have one. I bet you watch raw and smackdown just to bitch and complain because who you like is not being pushed. If you want to stop wwe from pushing someone then don't say shit at a show. Just sit there on your phone not making a sound. Don't talk about the person online because it still brings attention to the person you don't like.

Maven, there can only be ONE Undertaker but you were the FIRST F5-Taker. Also you were amazing during your WWE run and you are revitalized NOW in your youtube success. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into the business. It's a hard life and everyone who does it should be commended for their talent and their dedication. I tell people all the time when I itemize expenses as an independent contractor that you dont make as much as people think you do. I'm definitely loving all the videos and cant wait for the next one to drop. I tried to get into the business years ago. (I have a different look being Chinese, Japanese and Hawaiian) UPW (Cena was the Prototype there) accepted me but the 9-11 tragedy stopped the move in 2001. Had a match with Yuji Nagata and another with Dragon Gate. Did a Chikara event with Generico, Fire Ant, Eddie Kingston and others. Teddy Hart moonsaulted on my head. Almost had a match with AJ Styles. My FCW tryout was with AJ Lee and Adam Rose. I got to do a promo in front of the Legendary Dusty Rhodes. I had a smackdown tryout where I helped a run in with Matt Hardy. It was a short run but my regrets are not getting to meet and learn from all of the wrestlers from that time. I was a worker for 10 years (weekender) but never near the exhausting, back breaking point of wrestling on the road constantly. Search "Best Neckbreaker in Wrestling History". Due to this, I have absolutely no injuries or addictions. I've gone through tables, took huge moves (ex. hit a top rope DDT, did I mention Teddy Hart moonsaulted on my head, etc) Much respect to the Pros who sacrifice their body to the Sport. And much love to everyone on their path. I hope you get farther than me. I thought about making a podcast but what would I call it? Jabroni podcast, lol.
