I've had mine a couple of months and not had any of these problems. I have bashed the crap out of mine and haven't broken anything yet, and im actively trying to break it for fun.

@@utikahk4538 Some people have had good fortune. May be there was a dodgy batch in circulation ? Mine was Constantly chewing the Crown Gear on the Differential. I replaced the Front 4 times in total 2 times in the back. Im not alone there are others that have had the Same Problems . It seems you either get a Good one or A bad one . That was my point .

Mine has been a pice of 💩 too. 4 front diffs, diff pinion, diff case bearings, slipper pad is either locked or it just slips, impossible to adjust. Front hub just broken. Shocks have become really bouncy. I’ve just detuned mine and run it 2s so my little boy can drive it. The drive train is made of glass.

@@obiwun32 Really 🫨 thats really bad i can see my self having to fix it again too. I was running 16t pinion , yes it flew , But it’s tearing it self apart . Makes wonder if their promo cars given to Big KZbinrs were better . Nobody who got given one to review had a bad word for it . Im left feeling sour like yourself. I cant trust the brand .

Hm... is it possible that the clutch is responsible for the diff issues? Aussie shows how to setup the tension on this part to do not let something bad happen on the diff side: kzbin.info/www/bejne/i4uufWaEm6agpKc (it's about 10 minutes+ mark where he discuss this topic). Also, it seems that the quality control is bad everywhere - my two Smyters were really badly greased - almost everywhere and especially inside differentials. Starting with oiling them properly out of the box is never a bad idea.

I just recently got this truck and I don't have any of these issues, at least not yet. I did bend a shock absorber but other that that it seems to be fine. My unit came with 2 missing bearings, the pair from the lower side of the servo saver assembly, does this happen frequently? I mean when you get a new model you expect it to be complete.

@@optyqus it is poor Quality Control , The Third diff now has teeth chewed , I’m going to replace the crown gear and Crown pinion , for the Fourth time. I have checked it over after rebuilding throughly. At the time after putting it back together i see no reasons for it to Fail. I want to like the truck it drives Nice after a little set up tuning. But i cannot tolerate the amount of times it goes wrong .
