Keep the videos coming, I am new to the X3 world, and watching videos like this has been a huge help, I am in the middle of my build now, and doing videos along the way, people like you sharing their experiences has been inspiring me.

@@ytcoleman my rear where gone and I mean gone. The front lasted about 1000 miles more. Front had alittle life in them yet. If you have seen some of my videos I ride trails to where I’m on the gas and then on the brakes hard. I have a bad habit of breaking late into corners. So it’s hard.

Great information, thanks for taking the time. I just bought the X3 DS 120 hp. This is my first side-by-side, I’ve been riding a Yamaha raptor 700. Mostly do trail riding with a 3-4 trips a year to the dunes. I would appreciate any feedback on what you would think would be the essential accessories to get started.

Thanks for the review. I just installed the can am manufactured noise reduction kit that replaces the intake tubes with baffled tubes. It removed all the high pitch from the clutch sound.

I have a 30 cent pool tube with duct tape over it. Dose the same thing. No reason to cut the back up and put in the vent. There is plenty of air that gets in there

@@sxsmarine4075 Definitely...X3 seems to be a lot more durable... spring question for you? I see a lot of people say good things S.T. springs...I have been thinking about getting a set for my XDS...I guess I can't figure out how just a spring can make that much difference? I want to upgrade from the bighorns as well...I trail and rode ride in Northern Mich 90% of the time...what made you decide on those tires with so many other choices? I hope you don't mind my questions and I appreciate your input!
@sxsmarine40753 жыл бұрын
@@tomsltz it’s like putting the right springs on a dirt bike for your riding and weight. The x3 has triple rate springs in the back. When you get shock therapy they are only dual rate springs. So they travel farther in the stroke. They also since they are set up for the weight of your machine and even the rider and passenger they keep you at 15” ride height but yet not compressed all the way down to get that out of the springs. Tires are a hard choice and there are so many good tires out there. I liked The ones I got because they are Kevlar lined and very hard to get punctures. Also at the time two years ago they were the lightest tire that you could get for a 32 inch.

Well I do have a 1000.00 headset System just to talk to my wife in the car. Compared to a razor that you can actually Carry on a conversation with the person next to you going down the road. The x3 you can’t but when it comes to reliability the X3 is far superior.

When you did the Shock Therapy spring kit did you set it up for your base machine and then do your add ons to it or did you set your springs up for all your add ons? I just ordered a set that I haven't installed yet but have changed my cargo layout and dont have things like nerf bars or my roof rack yet. I was just wondering if any of that has made a difference in your ride quality? Thanks again!
@sxsmarine40753 жыл бұрын
When you order the springs they get very in-depth. They want to know every accessory and the weight of the driver and passenger. You can add some stuff after. The springs are kinda like a dirt bike spring. They will cover a riding from let’s say 200-230 pounds. So the springs on the car I imagine cover about a 2-300 pound range.
@Schultzy2213 жыл бұрын
@@sxsmarine4075 Just got them installed today and got to go for just a few mile ride. WOW! What a difference! I don't even have them dialed in yet either and I don't see not having all my cargo making much of a difference either. Looking forward to a few hundred miles this weekend.
