eating chocolate cigars?? - rustic Valencian chocolate review

I received these fascinating chocolate bars from Xoco & Vero as a souvenir from a trip to Valencia, Spain. They seem to be a little like Mexican hot chocolate disks, or Sicilian cioccolato di Modica. Is rough, rustic chocolate a good thing, and will they be worth the buy? Let's taste them and find out!

My Yaya grew up with these in Benimaclet. She told me you stick them in pan (baguette) and eat as a sandwich, which I've never tried... Perhaps the warmth of a fresh bread melts it slightly?
