Two things: One, I am stoked to see Mavericks footage post 1/10. Two, these are short left bowls, and yet I feel like these guys felt it was one of the most magical sessions at Mavs ever. Thank you for shooting and posting this. I would not have seen footage from the 12th otherwise. Thank you.

The guy who pioneered this wave, Jeff Clark, surfed it by himself for 15 long years before he could convince any of his friends to join him out there. And he surfed the left almost exclusively.
@BZ-ki5gc4 жыл бұрын
it’s because it was low tide and long period, makes it huck super hard to give you more time to exit.
@charlesmartin11214 жыл бұрын
@@godisbollocks I didn't know Jeff Clark mostly surfed the lefts. The guy should win the brass balls award of all time for surfing that place alone for 15 years. Just the risk of a Great White attack alone would be enough for me.

Is it me or is the left side of that wave hollower? Seems like the tube opens up more often than the other.
@PlaySA4 жыл бұрын
It's definitely more hollow, no doubt. But it's only really makeable in certain condition. Too big, too much wind, wrong direction, and it will just eat you
