The guy who pioneered this wave, Jeff Clark, surfed it by himself for 15 long years before he could convince any of his friends to join him out there. And he surfed the left almost exclusively.

it’s because it was low tide and long period, makes it huck super hard to give you more time to exit.

It's definitely more hollow, no doubt. But it's only really makeable in certain condition. Too big, too much wind, wrong direction, and it will just eat you
