Unless you’re able to get Chicago to end him for say Dinwiddie I don’t see how they would want to give up the young player for him. Would love to have Coby White as a 6th man but I doubt Chicago would want to give him up for say Dinwiddie and they may not be able to afford the contract without going over the salary cap and luxury tax more. Jordan Clarkson is interesting but he’s had a decline in shooting and scoring and is not a good, great or even an elite defender. I don’t think guard depth is what the Mavs should be worrying about now

Going from a top 3 Defense to a team that can't stop anywone when it counts isn't getting you back to the finals no matter how many 3s Klay gets. Grimes might be the savior of the season. As he can be a POA defender and hit open 3s. But that's only 50/50 it works out at best.

Luka needs to mature into a professional player this includes coming to camp in shape, not continue to cry on every time you miss a shot, refs know this and totally take him out of what little focus he has thus hurting the team and his effectiveness. If we can't win with this team then consider trade Luka and Hardy to Jazz for LM & Sexton. Save us ton of money i hope it doesn't happen but Luka has to simply mature.

Mavs need A BIG MAN COUPLE WITH A REALLY POWER FORWARD,(Gafford and Lively). Mavs actually has enough talented small men on the bench. They signed a 7'.5" tall man. give him the opportunity to play but not sitting on the bench. This kind of tall men are a pest to the enemy. He can also well serves as a substitution while playing Gafford and Lively in the starting five line-up. Forget the street ball of running like crazy where nobody is responsible for the defense of the lack of it.

The problem is coaching I feel like Jason Kidd is not creative enough on offense to get guys in easy scoring positions and that’s another reason why we struggle on defense and if this continues, we’re gonna have a long tough season

Your assumptions about Schröder, Dirk and Maxi are complete nonsense. That's just another narrative and prejudice that's being played up by the media because the media like beef. I'm from Germany and I also watch the German interviews of the players compared to you. Dirk has always spoken highly of Dennis and the thing with Maxi and Dennis was simply about the German national team coach wanting to build a team over the next 3 years and demanding commitment from the players to build team chemistry. Maxi wasn't there right from the start and that's why Dennis said that it would be unfair if players had to make room for Maxi in the team now, even though they had committed themselves and had even won a bronze medal at the European Championships the summer before, which was a huge success for German basketball. In an exclusive German interview with Dennis, for example, he also talked about the Lakers' alleged offer of 84 million euros, which he was torn apart by the media for allegedly turning it down. In the interview, however, he says that this deal was never on the table for him. It just goes to show that not all the information circulating in the media is true. Especially in America where everyone is into showmanship. In my opinion, Schröder would be a good fit in Dallas. He's one of the better point of attack defenders in the league, has a very cheap contract you can easily trade for, he brings leadership as a vet, has very decent shooting percentages this year so even the 3 is falling and would bring reliable and consistent playmaking off the bench compared to Hardy and Dinwiddie. So definitely T for Trade.
