I'm just so happy to see the "Empire Strikes Back" of the RB position. We're seeing Jacobs, Henry, Saquon, Gibbs and Montgomery, JK Dobbins, all making a big difference. Even Hunt is holding it down in KC, making Pacheco's injury a lot less of a burden on the offense. As it turns out, defenses just aren't equipped to deal with the run anymore after so many years of focusing on the pass.

Honestly it’s more the defense being a cohesive unit that is propelling the Eagles to have so much success. This is our third straight year of having 9 or more wins through first 12 weeks. Saquon was always this talented, but this is the first time in his career he had a top 3 offensive line. Our offensive line has propelled every starting running back in the last three years to their career single season bests.

Objectively, no, they aren't better than the Lions. The Lions offence puts up 32.7 points per game, and the Eagles put up 26.9 points per game. The Lions defence holds teams to 16.6 points per game whilst the Eagles hold teams to 18.1 points per game. Factor in that the Lions have played and beaten better quality opposition and yeah Lions are better so far this season.

I mean the lions are beating the titans cowboys seahawks and jaguars. They're outside the top 10 in total yards allowed per game and they're 25 in pass yards per game. and whenever they go up against a decent offense they struggle. They allowed 29 points to the seahawks and vikings. While the eagles have the best defense in the nfl and they've shown it against really good offenses. they've dominated the bengals commandes and rams all teams who have very good offenses. and offensively the eagles are just as good as the lions. Barkley is not even close to Henry he is having a great season though. Henry was seeing 8 man boxes for 6 years in Tennessee and still ran for 2,000 yards he has shown this type of energy every season Barkley hasn't. Before they got on the Verses I was already thinking it & was like that's going to be a good game but how they not play each other in the season IDK.
