People are sleeping on the Boston bench a bit because Horford has been in the starting rotation. Even then the Boston bench is only 5 points a game worse than Dallas. When Porzingis returns to the starting lineup, it's going to drastically improve things for the bench, because it means 1-2 bench players on the floor at once instead of 2-3, which isn't conducive to being effective. You're going to see wide open Hauser and Pritchard when the Mavs try to help on Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum in the paint. These guys don't know who Porzingis is either. Because he scores more points than anyone on the Mavs not named Kyrie or Luka.

They're going to call them a super team and say that's the only way they won. It's clear alot of people haven't watched a game with Celtics fully rostered. They're going to exploit Luka and Kyrie on defense. They had Luka guarding Brown in the past games forcing a switch by the Mavs and Brown was COOKING Luka. They don't have enough scorers to keep up with the Celtics. Everyone on the Celtics starting 5 averages double digit points on the Mavs. Tatum, Brown, and Porzingas average right at 90 points alone. All 5 Celtics starters have scored 20+ in this year's playoffs. Too many shooters and Luka and Kyrie will both have to average 40 a piece just to keep the games close. Not happening.

Celtics have beaten these same Mavs "since" the trade deadline. (These Mavs choosing clowns have no idea what they are talking about). Not even mentioning that they are a complete 4-0 vs the Mavs in the last 2 years. One clown was chirping about are the "other players" on the C's made better by the 2 superstars; he must have never seen Derrick White knocking down 3's and scoring 20+ points in "multiple" playoff games because he benefits from the space created for him by the 2 superstars. It was Jaylen Brown who passed him the winning corner shot which sealed the deal vs Indy in game #4. Jrue Holiday has taken over games because he exploits space created by the opponent's focus on the 2 superstars. The C's entire team benefits from the play of JT & JB. This year one of the reasons JT's scoring is down is because he focuses more on making the right play and getting more assists to his team mates than ever before. (Check his assist/rebound stats this year vs other years). The guy is playing better team ball helping others around him make contributions. Please get people on the set who know what the heck they are talking about.

the point is that the celtics were not tested in the way Dallas Mavericks were in the last two playoffs series.. which is true.. They never get to play the top defensive team in the regular season and the top seed in a stacked western conference who also happens to be in the top-5 defensive teams in the regular season.. SGA was a runner-up MVP, Williams and Dort are two strong and elite defenders, Gobert is a first defensive team and DPOY, McDaniels is a 2nd defensive team.. and wolves also have the ant-kat duo.. Dallas have to go through these guys.

@@susshibe2207The Celtics have exceptional on ball pressure, defense, and mis-match hunting. I believe Jrue is shooting something like 60% from the wing. Add with his defense Jrue is a real problem. Aside from that Washington is not shutting down JT. However, the real issue for the Mavs will be JB. Keep in mind you can’t leave anyone open on that team behind the arc. The whole starting line up can shoot. Luka is great. Kyrie is good. But the Celtics are playing some phenomenal basketball this year.
