I use mine for camping and fishing, swimming and honestly its been just as tough as my gshocks. In all honesty unless your diving 100m of WR is very sufficient and my protreks have taken plenty of knocks and kept going. Guys take these mountain climbing for godsake. If I was in a combat zone taking artillery fire I might want the gshock but you see GIs wearing just regular casios in the field and say they work great. Ghsocks are great don't get me wrong but I think people are over thinking just how tough do you really need a watch to be. 😅

I have an older model and it has a tower receiver, carbonfiver strap, and by the way if you are in any of the function modes, by holding down the mode button for about 3 sec it will quickly go back to time mode.

It has the same functions of the GWG 1000 but the atomic radio feature. It's more for daily and office than the mudman and it cost the half of the price

I still wish they released these with Saphire since I purchased one over 2 or 3 years ago but damn its still a great watch. I just put some phone protrector film on the screen and forget about it and have fun. Everytime I think about getting a Seiko Arnie or SafArnie I have to pull this watch out and think. This is half the cost, half the weight, probably just as durable and has way more features....Do I really NEED that Seiko? Sure I'll break down one day but not yet.😅 Also unlike allot of other casios this readily takes straps without an adapter.

So close to getting one of these but ended up getting a Protrek F20 for equivalent of $240, which was about the same as I could get the 600 for at the time. I really liked the style of the face, luckily one of the watch face designs inc in the F20 is more or less the same. Still fancy something like this though, maybe when the new designs are out and a couple of reviews are up... over to you...

Its fine it just means medium battery level. Unless you keep the watch in direct sunlight when you're not wearing it you'll rarely see H for high or full. Just don't store it in a dark place for long periods. You'll be fine.

Negative, if you’re looking for a triple sensor solar atomic watch. I can’t recommend the GWG-1000 enough. Jays and Kays sells strap adapters for the GWG-1000 too so you can what ever you want on there.

As far as I can tell nothing. The 3rd last digit is the cosmetics number The last two prefixes refer to region. ER for europe and CA for canada

While the watch itself interests me. What really caught my attention, is the line you have in your description; "Want to promote your watch brand? Contact me at the Business Inquiries address below." While I understand that you get watches in for review, and I suspect from the line in above that many of them are paid reviews. In the interest of being upfront about where you get, the watches, and if your being paid in some way, either keep the watch or in money, It would seem to me you should make a statement to that effect at the beginning and end of the video. If the video is being reviewed before being uploaded by the sponsor, you should also note that. I know of ONLY ONE KZbinr who I totally trust his reviews. I trust him because at the beginning of every video he tells us where he got the item if he bought with his own money, or if it's on loan, and going back. If it is a sponsored video, it says so in the thumbnail, and he makes it clear that it's sponsor, and if they review it before he post, he says so. He rarely doses sponsored videos, but when he does it labeled as such. He is also very clear that no one reviews or influences his regular videos before uploading. All of his opinions are HIS OWN.

I bought one from Amazon last week (April 20, 2021). Loved it but after 4 days the second hand froze at 56. Wouldn't move in time mode, home city set or compass. Tried HAND ADJ, but only the hour and second hand would move. A googled around but nobody seems to have the same problem. Will try and exchange. Anyone ever see this before?

Bluetooth yes gps no. Gps on watches just kills the batteries too fast. Casio bluetooth to phone is excellent though. You can use your phone easily set all the watch features, find you phone and setup auto time zone chg if your travelling with your watch. When your phone notices you have cross a time zone it will auto set one of the times zones to the new. I have a edifice with this feature and it makes an amazing travel watch.
