Most concise and useful video on flight modes I've seen. Been flying my mavic pro platinum for about a year now and I'm feeling confident to really go for intelligent modes now

How about you do the "Y" pose before using the gesture as it is a proper procedure? "Y" pose will signal the drone that you will be doing gesture and it picked up your pose since it looked like Y just before it took the photo. So gesture mode works quite good but you did not read the manual on how to activate it.

I've watched a few of your videos and I have a suggestion... There is a way in video editing to lower the volume of the music or raise the volume of your voice. I'm constantly turning the volume up and down to compensate for aggravatingly loud music. Music should enhance, not take over the video.

Question, will a mavic pro plat battery fit the regular mavic pro?
@JBCTR5 жыл бұрын
Carrboro_Chapelhill Fpv Yup, although the colour will be different as you’d expect

Thanks for sharing, I purchased a Mavic this past summer, it's so cool flying but I haven't tried the intelligence flying yet lol
@JBCTR7 жыл бұрын
Allen Oxendine It’s great! Just make sure you use the intelligent flight modes in open areas... most crashes I have seen have happened when using ‘intelligent’ flight modes

What mode do you fly in? (Controller). I noticed your holding the right stick forward when your in the compass mode. Is right stick forward pitch for you?

Jonah Boylen I use most of them to be honest. Point of interest mode is probably my most common :)

Your music is way too loud or your voice is way too quiet. Pick one level and even it out mate, constantly riding the volume on playback is annoying. Other than that, nice footage.

The Krakafaktri Thanks for your constructive feedback - it’s appreciated :) I am aware of the issues with audio levels. My latest videos should have that problem solved. Audio quality will also be improved in the new year.

cheers for the comment, great video btw, I need to try and get some more footage of the castle, didn't get much due to the sun setting
@JBCTR7 жыл бұрын
Thanks! It is a nice place to fly. it is easier to take off in the field next door as open space is limited near the castle :)

Hi jb, I have issues with my rth mode.. idk if its work or not bcs i’ve tested couple times to rth but my mavic still not return to home point but it just land on the spot that it fly. I’ve already record my home point (where it take off) but wherever the mavic goes and i tap rth the mavic just take a spot to land not going back to home point..hope u understand what i’m saying..thanks

Mine does the same thing. According to DJI there has to be contrast on the ground below the Mavic in order for it to return to the point of origin. Yet the Mavic of another flyer took off from grass. It RTH 3 feet from its original point of flight. Go figure.

I don't get it boss, why make a video about the flight mode and then not give good demos. We can all read a manual.
@XJarhead3606 жыл бұрын
Not really an in depth review. You don't start at the beginning on how to initiate each mode. Read Peter Abram's comment below.

"Apple doesn't allow" Well then Android is better then 🤦🏻♂️ 🤣

good reason to love the apple ... just to do things the way they want you to... or just don't want just like in this case... wake up people ...!!!

! tomekyo Not going to lie, I like Apple. Their OS is far more stable than android and that’s why I like it. That said, the reason Android is less stable is because you can do more with it. So they both have their uses. Day to day I use Apple. For more advanced use, I use Android. I see no issues with liking both 😉

... although can you record the screen on Apple devices in iOS11 (which has been released since this video was made)

Hands - On Music Apple devices can now also record the screen as part of iOS11. No 3rd party application required. This was filmed before the release of iOS11 unfortunately!

Pointless video as you didn't show how you access any of the functions. You really need to show the DJI Go4 app. screen and which icon to select for each mode.
