There is at least SOME amount of balancing there because while being in Graveless is preferable, it's also VERY dangerous. The biggest thing with Mavis is gonna be focusing on building her as tanky as possible, because she's the only unit in your party that needs to survive. But in that, she literally HAS to survive cuz if your whole party is in Graveless and she dies then you're on a timer before your entire party gets wiped out.

Also, I don't think she'll help as much in inferno tower because of Graveless unless you get really lucky with Ocean set. Party members being in Graveless is gonna be a detriment there due to the turn limit and they'll only be able to do damage when they've got Soul Parade which at worst is every 5 of Mavis's turns. So that's three Mavis turns that they're stuck in Graveless unable to do damage. Now Infinity Tower and Temporal Tower she might function well in since there's no turn limits there. Plus PvP.

I didn't catch her capability like that on the preview. Mavis is going to be imperative for a lot of players.

Friendly reminder that the last time we had legendary espers that explicitly named each other in their kits, *we got one of them for free.* Leora and Elaine weren't even worth running together in the slightest and probably still aren't unless they're both R6 I guess. Now the two that are an actually broken combo we have to wish for them both. Do with that information as you wish.

CD Up is becoming more and more important😮 It may not stop the "revive" but it does buy you some extra time in tanking the spooky ghosts Archibald is going to be very annoying with an r2 Ethan though oof. Archibald forcing you to use s1 for 2 turns, triggering % HP damage from both Archibald and Ethan

Bruh you need to give more credit to archie. his s3 literally silences units and make them take HP based AOE true dmg. in cleave perspective or tank setups that's a deadly blow because unless they have s1 or passive heals, they slowly die for 10 turns while being unable to anything to the enemy team.

Mavis,archival and jj are going to go crazy because if your up against a tevor who is being played a lot that’s just going to give Mavis 40% damage reduction without her having to do anything if I’m not mistaken

The ploy is make them have great synergy because it's almost impossible to get both free to play unless you've somehow been saving wish stones for months which is highly unlikely in this game. Not even the sister combo had this much synergy. Nobody has 200 wish stones ready free to play lol.

No kidding. I said I was gonna leave when divinates came out but decided I'd keep going for now but I feel like playing at this point is supporting this continued release of broken units with no balancing. And apparently they've BUFFED Anna on PTR by making it so she can't be petrified and buffing damage for one of her abilities. It's absolutely ridiculous. Mavis and Archibald are normal broken and may even just be a little below broken but Anna is the most broken unit in the game thus far and they BUFFED HER in PTR apparently. Made her do more damage and be unable to be petrified.

Pretty sure they'll make it so her passive prevents her from being saved either. They made it relatively clear that they want her to only save others, otherwise she'd just result in infinite loops.

@@FluffledPaws Idk if they changed it or if it was always there, but her passive says she can't be revived and is immune to standoff. Also upon her death, Graveless is turned into Soul Parade which means that you've got two turns in which to wipe out the enemy team before Soul Parade expires and kills the unit it was on.

The only strat against mavis was to kill her quickly, cecillia or any reviver cannot save her. Trevor was the best option against her.

Seen one showcase with hyde. First death, Hyde enter graveless, when Hyde no longer graveless, his revive passive got triggered. Hyde basically got revived twice!
