Ping probably has the least to do with your RL game's performance on away servers. I've played on 180'ish ping on SAM many times and had no real issues with my mechanics and the game felt relatively smooth. But if I get the same or even lower ping on Oceania it's completely unplayable. Also, I play EU on the regs (I like their style of play better) from New York and 110-130 ping feels mostly fine, yet US West feels like absolute garbage at 85-90 ping, to the point that it's often impossible to do a simple wave dash without spinning out. Just sayin, we need a better metric for away server vs. home than ping.
