Recently, these high level players who don’t normally play 1s (beastmode for example), are the most entertaining to watch in 1v1. They don’t rely on the “1s metas” and you can tell that Mawkzy never knew what to expect. Thoroughly enjoyed every second of beastmode’s style. Very refreshing! Ggs!

He's just the closest thing to perfect movement. Zen was the closest we've seen to perfect mechanics. Beastmode is on the other side of that. Both incredibly fun to watch. The potential for the Beast is so high

I think it’s time we acknowledge both the EU and NA 1s scene is amazing and no matter how good someone is, playing on a ping disadvantage is definitely a disadvantage. I mean, Diaz didn’t qualify for EU Salt Mine…yet he’s destroying the NA one. The pros are just too close in skill.

Because apparently regions mean nothing anymore. Before he wouldn't even have been able to join. But now I guess as long as you are okay with the ping you can play in any region tournaments. RLCS opened the door to this crap. Same reason LG is now an APAC org with only 1/3 being an actual APAC player.
