Case anyone needs them (3804-2RS Angular Contact Bearing Sealed 20x32x10) , these are for the T-20 trans outer bearings , they can be bought at VXB Bearings . This is the correct bearing for this job . Just make sure the bearing says angular contact , this makes sure you are getting double row bearing .

What does it mean when the band plunger pulls almost all the way out of the housing unit?
@alexburns65844 жыл бұрын
Shane Hinton Did you happen to figure this issue out? My max IV is doing the same thing on the right side.
@Rodrigues6804 жыл бұрын

Is there a reason you didn't use the band adjustment tools and an inch-pound wrench?

Brandon, thanks for this vid! can you suggest anyone that rebuilds these transmissions? I am in Texas...just got a 1994 Max II...but the trans is shot. thanks for any help!
@MaximumOffRoad7 жыл бұрын
Not many rebuilders left anymore. I'm sure Richard's Relics can do it or Midwest ATV might still rebuild them.

I just got a max2 with the roll bar on it how do I open it up the roll bar is going threw the upper body and to the frame ?
@MaximumOffRoad4 жыл бұрын
The rollbar just sits on the frame and connects with two pins that are under the seat. It really doesn’t change how you open up the body. Just remove all wing nuts around the edge except for the front three.

My 8x8 tracks left slightly and am constantly having to brake the right side to stay straight.. what is the solution?
@MaximumOffRoad4 жыл бұрын
That is usually caused by tire air pressure being higher on one side, causing those tires to be a larger diameter.

They need to make a t20 transmission with external disc brakes, for the diy'er.
@MaximumOffRoad8 жыл бұрын
Many old T20s from models like the Attex did have large disc brakes attached to the sprockets.
