Thanks for posting this I have one too but my is work fine but interesting What year is your my is 1996 Max iv with 18HP vanguard motor .

I'm not sure on the year, but mine has the 20hp kohler

@@nsh57 Yeah for sure your probably 95/ 96/97 just around there. I upgrade mine with a spline instead the OEM with shear pin.
