Even Having this conversation is blasphemous to the soccer gods. Allegri can’t coach himself out of a paper bag. I would luv to see it just so he can be exposed as the garbage coach he always was. Without the best players he could never win. He would last 4 games max. “Allegri would do a good job” what a joke. Thanks for the laugh. Allegri would NEVER a have won that game yesterday. Period, end of story. He never would have tied it, never mind won it. But assuming he did tie it, He NEVER NEVER NEVER would have gone forward for the win down a man at end of game. And that makes all the difference in the world. All Allegri apologists can stick their head back in the sand.

@@eaganadams3314 Conte set the table for Allegri. Allegri was given the Mercato that Conte complained about not getting. Juve has the highest player acquisition cost and up to this year, the highest salaries for players. Juve could buy anybody they wanted from any team. It would have been a scandal not winning those titles as it was not an even playing field. But even forgetting all that, Allegri is a horrible coach and his tenure 2.0 proved it. He was amongst the worst in Europe in most categories and only won speculating on the individual genius of some players. He is, IMO,the most overrated coach in Italian history and it ain’t even close. So much so, he still sitting at home rubbing his horses. As an Interista, my biggest nightmare is losing Inzaghi and Allegri replacing him as he would make Inter a failure.

Allegri imo is more like Ancelotti between his Milan spell and his return to Real Madrid- very good at managing a group of winners with experience of lifting big prizes. Allegri in 2019 or even 2021 would have worked. But if you look at what he'd be getting now, no chance. Look at the Milan and Juventus teams he inherited- a lot of serial winners there who were good seasoned professionals. Milan- Seedorf, Zlatan, Nesta, Gattuso, Pirlo and Abbiatti to name but a few. Juventus- Buffon, Chiellini, Bonucci, Barzagli, Vidal, Tevez, Lichsteiner,Pirlo and Llorente.
