Third when you have three of the top guys calling you out for months and one sent a contact then to receive it back unsigned for other reason thats a duck move so bob set up this fight because he figured he can attract the same numbers Like the PBC and move Loma to the back. mark my words the truth will come out

Lopez actually does tire in the later rounds and he did so in about the 8th or 9th round of this fight. The thing is is that it’s for a short period of time. Maybe a round or two before he catches his second wind. So I agree that was a dumb game plan for Loma. Especially when you’re supposed the be the best thing since air. Loma does have great footwork but tbh his greatness is based off being a southpaw. They give 90% of boxers problems. If he was a traditional boxer he wouldn’t be half as great and his footwork would be negated.

Lopez won all 1-through-7 and the 12th round. The punching stats state that Lomachenko didn't start throwing double digits until the 8, 9, 10, and 11th rounds. But he didn't win all four rounds. They were going back and forth. Lopez still outpunched him, but due to bias and favoritism, people want to give Loma those rounds and the 3rd. The 3rd round when he threw that slick counter combo combination came late after Lopez dominated him. So that's what you call desperation round like the 8, 9, 10, and 11. Those rounds showed how desperate Lomachenko was because he came out trying to KO Lopez. He did stun Lopez but he didn't wobble him or drop him. Also, Lopez has a significant power difference! Lopez forced Loma back every time they exchanged!

I totally agree with your score card on your 2nd watch ....Andre Ward having this a draw...is about as ludicrous as the 119-109 judge...the announcers were trying to talk up Loma for anything he did....they were most likely biased for trying to add drama to the viewers as this is entertainment ultimately or they were blinded by the champion and all the hype of his supposedly technical expertise. ..

Loma LOST his second fight. He is extraordinary but his adjustment from a DECADE of headgear and three round Olympic, point-scoring is a major tell. I am not Monday morning quarterbacking. I called this two months ago. Know what? The next generation of boxers - look at how Wallin brutally went into the phonebooth with Fury - realizes this. Smith is right in this - Lopez is WAY better for the sport. GOAT? Goats don't LOSE their second pro fight out of hubris - pure pride.

@mr.incognito73684 жыл бұрын
@@tb2957 yes he has incredible achievements but those wins have come against good and some mid tier opponents. This is the same guy that lost in his second pro fight to Orlando Salido who isn’t a world beater was former world champ but wasn’t ever on anyones p4p list honestly has Loma ever beat anyone “elite” , or P4P? the only guy was Rigo and he was 37 year old bantamweight. Nicholas Walters was a solid win but he was coming off a year long lay off. Jorge Linares another solid win but he had been stopped 3 times prior to fighting Loma...Jose Pedraza was stopped in 7 rounds by Tank Davis who was still a up and coming prospect at the time prior to fighting Loma who won by unanimous decision. Luke Campbell was never a world champion he is a championship contender at best but he actually lost to Jorge Linares before his fight with Lomachenko. Loma has only fought 3 undefeated fighters in his career prior to fighting fighting Lopez. And the excuse that Loma was injured both fighters came into that fighters came into that fight less than 100% Teofimo also dealt with a injury and he outboxed Loma in the first 7 rounds of the fight Loma came on strong in rounds 8-11 and Teofimo closed out the fight in the 12th. Don’t get me wrong Loma is a good and very skilled fighter but never should of been ranked #1 P4P in my opinion I struggled to rank him inside my top 5.

Max I hear you but, what was Julie Lederman watching having 119-109 basically saying Lomachencko only won one round. Your kidding me. She should be banned for judging any top champion fights. This is the best that boxing can do. That's why UFC is smoking 🚬 them.
@RatatRatR3 жыл бұрын
There's no way for a person who knows what they're watching to watch that fight and honestly report that they saw Lopez win 11 rounds. Julie Lederman is a good judge when she wants to be, and that leads me to conclude that she had some other priority that night.

Extremely fair analysis of everyone. It was just about boxing and performance of both fighters. Most of the other analysts go into the judges scorecards and making point that the fight was rigged or other excuses or whatever. The bottom line is for this fight is that a better boxer won the fight.
