Max Canada Lynx Chicken Time

Max is an educational animal ambassador and was bottle-raised as a cub. Although he's the sweetest Lynx most of the time, you never interact with him at feeding. It's HIS chicken leg and he lets me know it, too. I was a zookeeper working with many exotic cats and they all were aggressive at feeding. It's a time when you feed and leave.

I had a awesome lovable Serval sweet as can be. When it came to meal time I would carry his food over to his bowel set it down give him a pat on the head and just walk away. But he would get very stressed out if I stayed to close to him. The people that had him before used to terrorize him messing with him while he tried to eat. It made him very sick a lot he had the runs bad because of it. Once he realized I wasn’t a threat he started to relax and stopped being so stressed out. They should of put his food in a bowel then set it in a small cage out of the way. So he could be out of their way while she cleaned his cage.

Good point. However, Max wasn't likely feeling too good back then. Bernie has said that he has much less food aggression now, and even then, he was obviously used to obeying her - he did go into his cage, because she wouldn't back down. he knew, really, what the rules were, and that she really wasn't after his dinner

Per dates listed I watched this 2 years ago and 1 year ago liking and commenting each time. Well this is at least my 3rd time watching yet won't be the magical lucky time. Reminds me of my domestic cats. They’re as tame as can be, but once they get hold of prey or raw meat, they become *entirely* different animals. Their ears lie back, they start doing these primal grrrrrowls, and they run off and hide with their catch as if their lives depend on it in the wild! If anyone, cat or human, tries to take their food away, they get lashed out at! 😋
