I like it very much Peter (and TBH I wasn't expecting to). Clearly you've gone to the trouble of mastering it, and hence can deliver it with great articulation, relaxed hands, engaging momentum, and so on. It made me think of what you said about your "Pulse method". I wonder if I can find it...

Ah yes, it was with our conversation at your Bach 578 video. "Pulse technique". I've saved the conversation now 🙂.

Thank you, John. I love all his little manualiter pieces. They really get you excited to sing the hymns. His best one is on Lobet den herren and many churches still sing that hymn (Praise to the Lord, the Almighty). Part of building up the Pulse technique was working to play from the third knuckle. I noticed I've really built up a tall bridge over the years (knuckles are high). It's almost like holding a ball. It wasn't always like that.
