I've met both these guys. I think Max easily wins this. Yes Ilia is really good, maybe faster, a little younger too (not by much). But none of that makes up for the type of experience Max has, I'm a pro rugby player and when you're played at the top level for long enough, it's not even comparable. Max is still only 32, which is young for his experience level. 12 years at the top. He has fought: Gaethje, Volk, Katar, Korean zombie, Mcgregor, Edgar, Ortega, Aldo (in his prime), Swanson, Pettis, even beat Charles Olivera. Doesn't matter if he lost some, he made it hard for everyone. He's also huge, I'm 6ft 3, about 115kgs. Max's frame is legit big, like same as mine big. Wipe hips and wide shoulders for power. It's genetic. Ilia was tiny by comparison.
